PASCAL FERREIRA architect
I am a 36 year old architect, 12 years of experience, passionate about the materials and their techniques of implementation. I appreciate the quality of a building by the clarity of its design and the accuracy of its execution. After a few conceptual years spent in agencies, I decided to specialize in construction management.
My first experiences were with the Japanese agency Kengo Kuma & Associates on the sites of the Contemporary Art Center in Marseille and the New Conservatory of Music of Aix-en-Provence. These two experiences of public construction gave me an informed glance on the realization of the works of second work and a control of the French constructive and accessibility norms.
In February 2016, I joined Rougerie+Tangram in charge of the project management on the projet Tour La Marseillaise design-realization site in a group with Ateliers Jean Nouvel and Vinci Construction France. In charge of the architectural synthesis and the control of execution of the second works this experience "in situ" allowed me to understand the construction of a high-rise building and the management of a team. The work done jointly with the design architects was very informative. The combination of our skills has achieved a certain award-winning excellence of being nominated for the 2018 Silver Square Award in the Activities category.
A thorough knowledge of construction techniques and standards in force in the study phases guarantee the respect of the architectural gesture in the execution phase. This anticipation allows us to devote ourselves to the details that make an innocuous building an exceptional work.
I am currently working on the site of the Albert Kahn Departmental Museum in Boulogne-Billancourt for Kengo Kuma & Associates. An atypical project articulated around magnificent gardens.
